March was a busy month full of practices and trials. Fundraising is going great and we are eight weeks or so out from our trip across the pond. Everyday gets a little more exciting as Slice and I conquer another training session and add another clean round at a trial. With all the work the work we have been doing sometimes Slice is checking in with me too much on course which is causing some errors. The good news is she is choosing to pay attention to me, a hurdle we have been trying to clear for a long time. When we connect, which is more often than not these days, the runs are brilliant. She is really turning into quite the little pal. We so enjoy our "mommy and me" time and look forward to a busy April where we will be spending a lot of quality time together.
